Plumbing Doctor was founded in Yolo County in 1992 by lifelong plumbing contractor Michael Farias. He founded the company with only a truck and a vision: to create a strong brand and offer a customer service experience unlike anything seen in the plumbing industry. With his vision and drive, and the support from our customers, Mike grew Plumbing Doctor into the premier plumbing company in the area. We now serve cities along the I-80 corridor from Woodland to Fairfield, including Davis, Winters, Dixon and Vacaville.

Voted Best of Yolo County

Every year Davis residents vote on their favorite local businesses in a poll called Best of Yolo County. Residents vote on everything from their favorite pizza joint to the best gym in town. If it's a type of business in Davis, we vote on it. This year, for the first time, they included a plumbing category and Plumbing Doctor was voted the Best Plumbing Company in Yolo County.

The vote is held by the Davis Enterprise every March and voting is done online or by buying a paper. Anyone is allowed to vote for their favorite businesses. The only catch is that you have to vote for at least 25 categories for your ballot to count.

We are honored to be voted Best Plumbing Company in Yolo County. Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We appreciate the support.

We're Growing Again!
Over the past few years it seems you couldn't turn around without seeing a story about how bad the economy is. This has been a tough time in our Country's history and many people have lost a lot - jobs, homes, life savings. But the economy is starting to show signs of improvement. The recovery is slow-going and the reports are mixed, but we appear to be through the worst of it. One small sign on a local level is that Plumbing Doctor is starting to grow again.

Because of our loyal customers, our company was not hit as hard as many. We did not have to lay off any employees or downsize. But we also did not grow through the recession... until now. In 2011 we grew by almost 20%. This much growth would be impressive for any year, but considering the current climate, this growth is outstanding. Thank you to all our customers for supporting this local company through these tough times. We look forward to serving your well into the future and growing to meet your needs.
